This updated version prioritizes the user experience by grouping all shades within a room onto a single, easy-to-navigate page. By utilizing a platform-based architecture, the driver ensures stable communication and flexible configuration for any residential or commercial project.

• Precision Command Set: Open, stop, and close shades, or move them to a custom position and recall saved presets.

• Streamlined Room Control: The driver displays every shade in a room on one screen, eliminating unnecessary scrolling for the end-user.

System Architecture & Setup:

• Platform Driver Logic: The ‘Platform’ driver manages the primary serial communication through the Crestron Home processor’s COM port.

• IPToSerial Connection: Individual room drivers connect to the hardware via the IPToSerial driver rather than connecting to the hardware directly, ensuring a more stable network footprint.
