We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with personal information through Digital Automation website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Digital Automation website collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Digital Automation’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Digital Automation’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Digital Automation may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Digital Automation website also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Digital Automation website does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Digital Automation website choose to interact with Digital Automation website in ways that require Digital Automation to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Digital Automation website gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who use our contact form to provide a name and email address.

In each case, Digital Automation collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Digital Automation website. Digital Automation website does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities, like purchasing from our store.

Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Digital Automation website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

Digital Automation will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, Digital Automation website discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, if you give permission to have your information shared, or when Digital Automation believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Digital Automation, third parties, or the public at large.

If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Digital Automation takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
