TCL Display Driver for Crestron Home™

Description

This display driver has been tested against TCL’s smart displays. It has not been tested against the TCL Roku displays. For the TCL Roku displays, you can try using the regular Roku driver. The driver supports your basic operations, such as discrete power and discretely changing inputs. Volume control is also available, along with directional buttons. Discretely selecting a smart app media service is currently not supported (TCL to release an update in the future).

Please follow the directions in our manual for proper television and driver setup. Please also note that currently, if a TCL display physically loses power and later regains power, it will not respond to any IP commands. This is something TCL will resolve in a later update. Should your TCL display lose power, you will have to first turn it on manually, either from the OEM remote or through the physical power button, then you will get back control through IP.

This driver is supported on Crestron Home, Crestron SIMPL, and Crestron AVF.

Any hardware configuration mentioned in the driver manual are the responsibility of the integrator. If you have hardware-related questions, such as wiring or addressing, we advise reaching out directly to the manufacturer for assistance. Additional support, beyond driver configuration, requires the purchase of service hours before guidance will be provided.
