Pulse-Eight ProAudio Matrix Crestron Home™ driver

Price range: $200.00 through $340.00

Command your distributed audio with the Pulse-Eight ProAudio Matrix Crestron Home Driver. This TCP/IP-based integration manages up to a 48×64 matrix, providing seamless routing, volume, and tone control. Note: This driver fully supports the ProAudio 8, 16, and 1632, while providing restricted, 48×64-bounded control for larger models like the ProAudio 3248.

Please make sure to read below the full description of the driver before purchasing.

Description

The Pulse-Eight ProAudio Crestron Home Driver provides a high-performance TCP/IP interface for managing multi-room audio distribution. By mapping a comprehensive 48×64 matrix, this single driver accommodates the I/O structure of the ProAudio 8, 16, and 1632 models, delivering a fluid and responsive user experience.

Important: Scalability & Large Matrix Support

Please note that this driver utilizes a fixed 48×64 matrix logic. While it offers total control for smaller and mid-sized models, it provides only partial control for larger chassis such as the ProAudio 3248. The driver restricts all routing and commands to its internal 48×64 grid; any I/O residing outside of this 48×64 boundary on a 3248 unit will remain inaccessible through this driver.

Core Integration Features:

  • Precision Matrix Mapping: The driver framework organizes routing across 16 analog, 16 digital coax, and 16 digital optical inputs, directing them to 32 analog and 32 digital outputs.

  • Audiophile Adjustments: Fine-tune every zone with input gain compensation for disparate sources, plus independent bass and treble adjustments for all analog outputs.

  • Native Framework Automation: The Crestron Home™ ecosystem automatically manages output power states and source switching based on your custom room assignments.

  • Unified Licensing: You only need a single license to support all Pulse-Eight ProAudio Pre-Amp drivers running on the same Crestron Home processor.

Technical Efficiency:

  • I/O Management: For smaller units like the ProAudio 8, simply ignore the unused virtual inputs and outputs within the Crestron Setup App.

  • Comprehensive Commands: Execute discrete power, mute, volume limits, and dynamic volume ramping with instant bi-directional feedback.

Verify your audio mapping today. Download the 2-hour trial license to test the routing and tone controls on-site.

Note: Due to the nature of this product, any and all sales are final, and NO refund will be issued. It is highly recommended and encouraged to use the built-in trial license to test the driver with your hardware setup before purchasing a full license. The trial period is 2 hours and can be extended another 2 hours by rebooting the processor.

Pulse-Eight ProAudio Pre-Amp Audio Matrix Driver Manual

  • It is recommended that you save a configuration or golden configuration before installing any driver.

  • Crestron Home manages input loop-outs using virtual adapters. The adapters are placed in the Crestron Home configuration as a hub between the source and the devices. The physical source is landed on the adapter’s input, and the adapter outputs are landed on the device's input as needed. The most commonly used adapters are the Universal A/V Adapter and the Uncontrolled Generic A/V DA. They are shown under the "Other" category below "Drivers".
