Description
The Episode 70V Amplifier Crestron Home Driver provides a dedicated serial interface for managing Episode’s high-impedance amplification series. Specifically designed for 70V distribution, this driver enables the Crestron Home™ ecosystem to automate power states and source switching with zero network latency.
Advanced Audio Configuration:
-
Flexible Routing Logic: This driver supports two primary operation modes. You can either mix all inputs simultaneously or route a single specific source to the outputs based on your client’s needs.
-
Stereo Mapping: The driver intelligently maps the hardware inputs into a stereo system structure:
-
Input 1 & 2: Unbalanced RCA (Left/Right)
-
Input 3 & 4: Balanced (Left/Right)
-
-
Discrete Control: Command discrete power on/off and mute states, ensuring the amplifier stays in sync with complex home or commercial automation scenes.
-
Real-Time Feedback: The driver maintains constant bi-directional communication to provide accurate volume levels and active input status on the Crestron Home UI.
Technical Requirements:
-
Serial Control Only: This driver utilizes the RS-232 protocol exclusively. It does not support IP-based communication for the ESA-70V series.
-
Supported Models: Fully compatible with the ESA-70V2CH-150W, ESA-70V2CH-300W, and ESA-70V2CH-500W.
Automated Efficiency: The Crestron Home framework automatically manages zone power and source selection upon request, utilizing your specific assignment configuration to streamline the user experience.
