LEA Amplifier Connect Series driver for Crestron Home™

This driver communicates with the device via TCP, allowing you to easily route and power it on. It uses the Crestron Home™ framework.

Sources are automatically switched to their respective areas upon request, based on the assignment configuration. Making it a convenient tool for managing your AV system.

This is a free driver, no purchase is necessary. It is available on Crestron’s driver portal and on Crestron Home’s Setup App

Description

This driver comes with a 2-hour trial license.

Note: Due to the nature of this product, any and all sales are final, and NO refund will be issued. It is highly recommended and encouraged to use the built-in trial license to test the driver with your hardware setup before purchasing a full license. The trial period is 2 hours and can be extended another 2 hours by rebooting the processor.

Before calling, review the Driver help file and FAQ section for the Driver as our support is limited to questions about configuration and setup only. Any hardware configuration mentioned in the driver manual are the responsibility of the integrator. If you have hardware-related questions, such as wiring or addressing, we advise reaching out directly to the manufacturer for assistance. Additional support, beyond driver configuration, requires the purchase of service hours before guidance will be provided.

  • It is recommended that you save a configuration or golden configuration before installing any driver.

    • You can not control individual channels with this driver. This driver was designed to control only pairs of channels. The reason for this is because in a residential project (which is what Crestron Home is used for), you would normally be using stereo pairs and would want to route stereo. The driver has hard coded the pairs as follows:

    1 and 21
    3 and 42
    5 and 63
    7 and 84
  • This specific use case is unfortunately not supported. Crestron Home has a limitation when it comes to 3rd party AV Switcher drivers. CH does not give you the ability to drive multiple outputs on an AV Switcher driver even if you land the same zone on multiple outputs. It will just force you to select a “default” zone to use. The best option is to wait for LEA to release updated firmware that will add an option to buss arbitrary channels together. It is best for you to contact LEA and voice your request and importance of the feature to them directly so they know you the customer wants it.
