How come on startup, the volume feedback doesn’t update? When someone tries to ramp volume, it starts from the last level rather then the startup level.

This is due to a limitation of the hardware. When the unit powers on, it does not send the current volume level back to the driver. The way around this is to set a startup volume in Crestron Home. Setup a sequence triggered by monitoring the Media Zone On event. Go to a room that’s on an output of the amp, select Media Operation and add a Set Volume and set a volume level to match the startup volume in the amp. You’ll need to add some delay in front to allow for the amp to warm up before accepting commands.
